Level 3 (10-Point Inspection + Suspension + Vehicle Scan

What’s Included?

Everything in Level 2 (10-Point Inspection + Suspension) plus:

  1. Injector Feedback: Scan for Injector Correction Values (identifies rough idle/bad injectors common with local diesel quality).
  2. DPF/EGR Status: Check soot accumulation levels and EGR valve operation via scanner.
  3. Transmission Temp: Check automatic transmission fluid temperature via scanner (if applicable).
  4. Warning Lights: Document Water-in-Fuel light, T-Belt Light, or DPF lights.

Level 2 (10-Point Inspection + Suspension)

Goal: Identify wear caused by heavy loads and rough terrain.

What’s Included?

Everything in Level 1 (10-Point Inspection) plus:

  1. Leaf Springs: Inspect leaf packs for cracked/broken leaves. Check U-Bolts for tightness.
  2. Suspension Bushings: Check leaf spring shackles and polyurethane bushings.
  3. Ball Joints & King Pins: Heavy-duty check for play using a pry bar.
  4. Propeller Shaft (Drive Shaft): Inspect U-Joints for play/clunking. Check Carrier Bearing (Center Bearing) rubber condition.
  5. Grease Points: Verify if Zerk fittings on propshaft/suspension allow grease acceptance.
  6. Idler Arm/Pitman Arm: (Specific to steering box setups on older trucks) Check for play.
  7. Frame/Chassis: Inspect chassis rails for rust, cracks, or rot.

Level 1 (10-Point Inspection)

Goal: Daily or Weekly readiness check for work vehicles.

What’s Included?

  1. Engine Oil: Check level
  2. Coolant: Check level. Check clutch fan resistance (if equipped).
  3. Clutch/Brake Fluid: Check Master Cylinder levels. 
  4. Power Steering: Check fluid level. Inspect lines for rubbing/chafing.
  5. Drivetrain Fluids: Check Front Diff, Rear Diff, and Transfer Case levels (if 4WD).
  6. External Lights: Check Headlights, Indicators, Brake lights, Reverse lights, and Plate lights.
  7. Battery (Dual if equipped): Load test both batteries. Check hold-down clamp tightness.
  8. Air Filter: Inspect. 
  9. Legal Markings & Body: Check that “Tare” and “MGW” weights are painted on the right side and visible. Check side mirrors.
  10. Tires (Load Rated): Check pressure. Inspect sidewalls for bulges/cuts. Ensure tyres are “C” (Commercial) or “LT” (Light Truck) rated if required.
